The analysis platform is now called s2m

The evaluation tool behind the consulting work got a name that says what it does: sync to the shaft, max out the evidence.

The platform that carries the measurement data, the gearbox models and every analysis run has a new name: s2m, short for sync2max.

The long form is the method in four words — sync to the shaft, max out the evidence. Every evaluation starts by referencing the signal to shaft angle rather than to wall-clock time, and from there the goal is to get the most out of a measurement that was often expensive to record.

Why it needed a name at all

A tool used only by its author can be called anything. As soon as clients get their own access to the parts of an analysis that concern their project, the name appears in report headers, in access links and in conversations. It may as well say something.

What changed for users

Nothing in the analysis itself. The address changed, and the old one redirects permanently, so existing links keep working.
